The newest and largest single ski resort in Utah and one of the five largest ski and snowboard resorts in the United States, The Canyons features more than 146 uniquely challenging ski runs and boasts an average annual snowfall of 355 inches. Beginner, intermediate and expert ski slopes are available at The Canyons, which is located just 4 miles from downtown Park City. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, activities at The Canyons include snowshoe tours, snowmobiling and horse-drawn sleigh rides. There's plenty to do here in the summer as well with guided horseback tours, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking and scenic gondola rides.
